サンティアゴのボタフメイロについて

さきほど、サンティアゴの空港からのアクセスについて質問した者です。
もうひとつ質問がありまして、カテドラルで香炉を振る「ボタフメイロ」が行われるのは、何曜日の何時のミサがご存じの方、いらっしゃいませんか。
カテドラルのHPを見ましたが、とくに記載されていませんでした。

四年ほど前に団体で現地に行ったため、このボタフメイロ(botafumeiro)は観られませんでした。

関係するブログ(http://suzuki.888j.net/spain/news_1007.html)やサンティアゴ観光局サイト(http://www.santiagoturismo.com/)などによると過去のように頻繁に実施されなくなり、特別なミサの時に実施されるものと思ってましたが、gallegaさんの情報だと「定期的」に行われているんですね。

ご参考にならないのかも知れませんが、同観光局の英語版(http://www.santiagoturismo.com/que-facer-na-catedral/solicitar-o-botafumeiro)には以下のことが書かれてました。

When can you see it in action?

The “Botafumeiro” censer follows a calendar of liturgical celebrations, during which it operates as part of the mass. Apart from these occasions, it has to be requested beforehand and paid for by individuals.

Easter Sunday: in 2010, April 4
Ascension of Our Lord: in 2010, May 13
Pentecost (50 days after Easter): in 2010, May 23
May 23: Anniversary of the Battle of Clavijo
July 25: Feast of St. James

残念ながら、日曜日には滞在できないので、今回はあきらめることになりそうです。

何回かボタフメイロを見たことがありちょっと調べたのですが、日曜日のミサ以外にお金を払うと昼12時のミサでボタフメイロをしてくれます。料金は確か600ユーロほどで運が良ければ誰かがお金を払っていて無料でボタフメイロが見れます。

個人的には香炉が大きく振れているときよりも、その後止めるときのクルクル回るおじさんの動きがカッコイイので是非チェックしてみて下さい。
